LED lighting brings major economic benefits. LEDs utilize less energy than other bulbs. LEDs have a better quality of light distribution and focus light in one direction. This means fewer LED lights are needed to achieve the same level of brightness given off by fluorescent and incandescent lights. It is standard to see a 15-20% decrease in electricity consumption after a 100% switchover to LED lighting. Lower consumption leads to lower energy costs.

The longevity of the life of LED fixtures helps to minimize or eliminate yearly maintenance costs for replacing bulbs.

LEDs also produce less heat. This can help reduce energy costs required to maintain cooler facilities during the warmer seasons. 

The most prominent advantage of LED lighting over traditional lighting is fixture longevity. An LED fixture uses less electricity, which reduces wear and tear inside each fixture. This translate into a longer lifespan for each fixture. A longer lifespan means lower carbon emissions. 

LED fixtures typically last up to ten to twenty times as long as traditionally bulbs, reducing the requirement for frequent replacement. This makes them ideal for warehouse and hard to reach locations. This results in savings due to fewer replacement and less maintenance.
